Rebecca has rescued many cats and dogs; most of them went to wonderful homes. A few of the rescued cats were not adoptable and were living in Rebecca’s garage. She dreamed of building a house for these un-adoptable cats but did not have the money. Then a local organization, "Plateauland" donated an old mobile vet clinic. It’s a 25ft long trailer that after renovations will be a permanent home for the cats currently residing at Sunnybrook Farm, as well as other homeless adult cats which we hope to find homes for. Sponsored by the Flagstaff Pet Assistance league, FlagPal has made Rebecca's Cat House part of it's organization.  Rebecca and a group of dedicated volunteers will care for these cats for life. If you are interested in volunteering or being a Foster Home, please contact us. (Being a foster home does not cost you a penny, we provide everything you might need.) All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. For more information write to FlagPal, att: Rebecca's Cat House PO Box 30233 Flagstaff AZ 86003-0233 or call Rebecca at 928-773-1605.

To adopt a cat  you must be at least 21 yrs. of age, at least one adult in the household must be employed full time (unless retired) and a permanent resident in Arizona. There is an informal interview to determine if you can provide a cat friendly home. We may ask to do an in-home inspection. With a few exceptions, we only consider homes that are non-smoking and where these cats will be kept as indoor pets. A $50 reimbursement for veterinary costs is required for a cat. *We guarantee a full disclosure of the health of every cat and have a "No Hassle" return policy.

*We guarantee against any pre-existing, detectable illness. All cats are tested for FIV, FELV, FIA and FIP, some outdoor cats are tested for worms and other parasites, cats older than 8 yrs. are given pre-op blood tests, any cat with bad teeth receives dental cleaning. All cats must be returned to Rebecca's Cat House if the adoption does not work out for any reason.

To adopt a dog you must have a fenced yard with access to fresh water and shelter if the dog is going to spend the day outside. We expect dogs to be brought indoors at night and have a proper dog bed and good quality dog food. An interview is required. The adoption fee is $75.00.

Rebecca's Cat House is going out of business and is no longer accepting any cats. We still have 3 great cats that are looking for homes and we will continue to operate until we do find homes for all of our cats. thank you.

On the next few pages you can see photos of the shelter being built, and on the 4th page, some of our cats currently up for adoption.
After we got the trailer in place it was time to do some repairs.
Our Handyman works on the trailer, starting with the leaky roof.
