| Welcome to Sunnybrook Farm! | |||||
| Let me introduce Rebecca... she grew up in California in an animal loving family; her childhood was spent rescuing animals with her mother and living in a house that resembled a petting zoo. Rebecca was a Music major at the University of Alabama and worked in the music business for 20 years primarily as a live sound engineer. In 1992, Rebecca decided to settle down in Flagstaff with her 6 dogs and 3 cats. She retired from the music business completely by 1998 and was able to devote all her time to animals. Her life long passion has been animals; even when touring over seas she spent every day-off rescuing animals. She started "Sunnybrook Farm" a Pet Sitting business which grew to include Dog Walking, Doggie Day Care, Dog Boarding and Pet Transportation. She started making Dog Necklaces featuring the "Dog and Mom Jewelry Set" to help support rescued animals. She converted her garage to accommodate rescued dogs and in 2000 she started a no-kill Cat Shelter for adult cats. She has held positions at other shelters, non-profit organizations as well as retail pet stores. Her experience with all kinds of animals and her knowledge of different pet-related areas makes her a valuable friend to your pet. She treats every animal as she would her own, with love, patience and understanding. | |||||

My oldest boy Ralph passed away on Monday March 28th 2005 at 7pm. My heart is broken and I miss him very much. I love you Ralphie so much.
******************************************************************* Very unexpectedly and suddenly my Rosie girl died on June 8th 2005. I don't have the words to describe my pain. She was my rock, she was the cornerstone of this family. We all leaned on her and she was strong enough to carry us all. I cry for you every night Rosie. ****************************************************
My sweet, sweet Valentine died Thurs. June 15th 2006 at home with me and the other dogs, also my sister Joanna, my nieces Angelica and Maddie and my nephew Nicky. She was my first dog and had the most history with me, this was very hard. I thought since she was almost 15 and sick a lot in her life that I would be better at letting her go. It doesn't get any easier no matter what. My heart aches like never before, I find that I'm standing in the house not knowing what to do and I'm always looking for her to come in the door to get dinner. I'm also checking her pillow at night to see if she's O.K. It seems awfully quiet around here even though I still have 4 dogs. Valentine my baby girl, I love you so much. ***********************************
